Programs - Mending Arts We are now accepting applications for our Summer Camp and our upcoming fall series. After school and summer workshops are held 1 1/2 to 2 hours once a week in different, 10-week thematic series for children experiencing the effects of trauma, grief, loss, separation, maltreatment, or neglect. Referred youngsters are screened by a licensed psychologist who is a registered art therapist, and children are grouped according to ages, gender, abilities, needs, and interests. Special programs have been designed to reach children who do not respond well to traditional therapy. Mending ArtsSM can also provide an adjunctive opportunity for healing.
